for example, you received a box of chocolates as birthday present and decided to offer to 仙童.  Technically, its not ok. 

when you offer to the divines, you have to buy with your own money.

谢太岁

we had a ceremony in our temple to 谢太岁 on 16 Dec 07

we have to thank this year’s  太岁 and welcome next year’s 太岁.

after the ceremony, they can bring back the blessed bao and rice and candle for peace and fortune
